Let's share websites that help with learning how to tie knots... knots are amazing useful in many fields of life from tying down a load on a vehicle to putting up a tent.

Animated Knots

Gemma found this great website that actually has animated knot steps. It is very cool. Go to Grog's Animated Scouting Knots Index and click on the knots to see more. Might be handy to have some rope handy to practice what you see! We were amazed to see the difference between a 'Reef knot' and a 'Thief knot'... we did know of the 'granny knot'.
